At least for mommy, it didn't! Oh well, nothing surprising. We are hydrated (drank lots of water in the last few days), we have boosted our immunity (with immune boost yogurt), we are packed (in WAY more bags than we took last time in July 07) and we are ready (at least we better be!).
Just a little thank you to my "bloggy" faithfuls. Your comments are our connection to home and we LOVE them; they really do keep us going! This morning, as you all are waking to little folks so excited about Santa and celebrating baby Jesus, we will likely be in the car on our way to the airport! While you are opening presents and enjoying a big dinner, we will be on the airplane. When your kids are bored because there's "nothting to do" or no one can play (yes, we have been there), we will be on the airplane. When you tuck them into bed tonight, we will STILL be on a plane. AND finally, when you wake up tomorrow, we will be on ANOTHER plane! So, all this to say, please pray for us as you go about Christmas today!!! We would so very much appreciate it!!!

You have been on my mind and in my prayers since the wee hours of the morning. With a paper route and and a two year old, there is not a whole lot of sleeping going on around here, although Sarah Beth still doesn't get this whole Christmas thing! Santa is also someone you stay far away from and maybe wave to!
Can't believe you are leaving for China today-wow, weren't we both just there??? We are so excited for you and cannot wait to see Alaina with her forever family! We love ya'll and will be faithful bloggers(at least while you're in China, smile!!) Praying for a peaceful flight! Looking forward to your next post!
Sorry you guys have to spend Christmas in an airplane. I know that the benefits are going to be great though. WOW, Christmas in China!! Can't wait to see the newest addition finally with her real family. Post pics soon and please post often!! Woke up at 5:30 this morning and lay in bed thinking about you guys. Said a prayer for you then and will continue to do so throughout the day. Wishing you an uneventful flight and a very Merry Christmas!
I wonder what you are doing right now? Where are you? How much longer do you have? These are just a few of the questions I have been thinking to myself all day today! I hope you guys are doing well on the plane and Lucy I hope you finally got some sleep girl :).
