We got down to the lobby at about 4:15 and Lucy immediately said "there they are". Alaina and one other little girl were coming through the door of the Hotel with the orphanage director and one helper. As I am writing, we just got our first smile with the help of bubbles. Ally has been great so far. She keeps giving all of her toys to Alaina. Alaina has already had two tiny chocolate bars, so we are getting her used to things around here. Wow what a difference 10 minutes makes. All 4 of them are laughing and playing right now.
She was pretty sad the entire time the orphanage people were here. She tried to be strong and not cry but you could tell she was having such a difficult time. We told her through our guide that it was ok to cry. After they left she just kind of sat there looking so sad.
Lucy and the entire family are somewhat in disbelief at how this is going so far. She is having so much fun. Ally and Alaina are coloring right now. She had another tiny candy bar she is getting up and getting things that she wants to play with when at first she would not take anything we would give her. We had asked her when she was sad about going to the restroom. A few minutes she was giggling and just got up and ran in there. She has on tights, leggings, shorts, panties and a skirt. That is a lot of stuff. She has taken off her boots but will not let go of her jacket. Either she really likes it or she thinks she will have to stay if we take it.
Randi check out the shirt. It is Minnie Mouse.
