We got our I-800A approval today (or at least confirmation that it was approved)!!! What does this mean? We only have one more set of forms to submit, but we have to wait until we have our LOA from China in hand to submit our 800 form (yes, that is different than the 800A! -- confusing?). But this is a step in the right direction and we are so excited! And still hopeful at the remote chance that we might meet Alaina before the end of this year!
My friend Donna (who is about 20 days ahead of us in the process) got her TA today! She hopes to leave in about 2 weeks for her new little chick-a-dee, Faith! Take a look at her blog and follow her journey! I can't wait to follow along - and we are hopefully right on her heels! YEAH...
We got a call from Publix (where we saw Santa last night) and we won a $20 gift card! Even better!
Tonight we celebrated a little accomplishment for Ally. She had slightly regressed in the "going to bed without crying" dept; so we motivated (bribed) her into going to sleep nicely with a trip to Chuck E Cheese. Actually, we offered to put up her big-girl bed, but she said she wanted CEC! Go figure!
