Alaina was practicing writing our last name the last few days at school. Yesterday in the car she said to me, "Mommy, 2 S's, S S, Harkness, Why?" GOOD Question, wouldn't you say? When she realized that Princess also ends in 2 S's, she was beyond thrilled!
She is not too thrilled about attending her weekly Chinese lesson. Her teacher will only allow her to talk in Chinese during the lesson and on their weekly phone call. Today, the teacher told Doug that she is replying in English more and more. We looked into her attending an immersion language day camp this summer, but we will be OOT for the first week of the camp. I will try to call to see if they would let her come the second and third weeks. OR if any of you out in blog-land know of a Chinese immersion camp for kids that is in the NE Atlanta area, please let me know!

That is sooo cute Lucy! :) It amazes me how fast these little ones pick up English - it would take me a year to learn one word of Chinese :).
