We celebrated Lauren's Birthday today. It was kind of a low key event as we had told the older girls they were not going to have parties this year because of China. We did let Lauren choose what we would have for dinner and she chose fondue. We all enjoy fondue except for Alaina. She does not like strong tastes such as sharp cheddar cheese, garlic, or parmesean cheese. She ate the bread and apples and enjoyed cooking the chicken and steak in the oil. Lucy made a chocolate cake and we all sang Happy Birthday. Lauren got a children's Paula Dean Cookbook for her present. She really enjoys cooking and making her own creations.
I am still recovering from our trip to Disney. The band did great and they behaved wonderfully. I was glad that Lauren's soccer team won again. We are now 2-0. It must be the coaching.

Great record, coach! Absolutely - must be a direct reflection of the coaching staff.

You and Kenzie would have fun in the kitchen! She loves to bake and decorate cakes! :)
Lucy's cake looks yummy!!!
Way to go Coach! and girls! :)
Bryan seems to say "the teams are listening to him" when they win, and "if" they would listen" when they lose. :)
Happy Birthday Lauren!!
