We finally made it to the doctor on Tuesday of this week. We recently changed insurance providers so we had to find new doctors. Alaina weighed in at 36.4 pounds and 44.5 inches tall. For a 7 year old, that equates to the 0 %'ile for weight and 3rd %'ile for height! She had to get another TB skin test (that also came out positive, just like last year). So, today we had to return for a chest x-ray, which was negative, showing no sign of TB. But, because she had a BCG shot in China (given to all infants there) she will test positive her whole life. So what do we have to do? Give her a prescription med every day for 9 months! This will put a permanent record in her med file that will state that she has been treated for her exposure... yuck -- hope it doesn't taste horrible!
She, once again, freaked out with the little needle in her arm - screaming and pulling her arm back - aargh. We get to go to the lab again next week for them to re-test her for HIV and all of the Heps. I've resorted to bribing her. We'll see!
So, here is my question. The car seat rule says that for kids to be in a booster, they must be 4 years old AND 40 pounds. Obviously, she will not fit in a regular carseat (too tall), so she is already in a booster seat. I don't see her hitting 40 pounds until after she is 8 or so!
Here are a few pics from our spring break! Maybe some day I'll blog about things we are doing!

Wow - your spring break sure looks like a lot of fun!
In MD, the law is 8 years AND 80 lbs to be out of a booster. I don't think Catherine will ever hit that. I wonder if they make a booster for the driver's seat!
