Need I say more? Alaina is 7 today! I'm pretty sure she fully expected to wake up bigger and able to read entire books today. Luckily she wasn't too disappointed that today was pretty much like yesterday! She selected spaghetti for dinner and we had cake and ice cream. The most fun (well, after a few presents from the fam) was sharing cupcakes with her school friends! It was one year ago that she went for her very first day of school!

On another note, I was in Texas for work this past weekend. One of the highlights of my trip was having dinner with my sweet friend Jodi (we met in GZ last Jan) and her girls, Jailyn and Jorja! We HAD to eat Mexican (we both missed it so much while in China last year!). It was great to see her and even though we only spent a week with them, we really hit it off! Fun to catch up with their growing family!!!
