Santa brought all of us passes to Disney (10 days that never expire)! So, we decided that this past weekend would be a good time to take our first little trip to Orlando with our new tickets in our paws. Little did we know that the temps really could dip into the 20s in central Florida! But we did go prepared!
We had our court date to finally finalize Alaina's adoption on Thursday AM, so after that we hopped in the car and headed south! Luckily the girls had a "snow day" on Friday and only missed one day. We made great time on the drive. Got to our hotel around 4'ish and went to our fav Mexican place in O "Chevys" and then ran over to Downtown Disney. Alaina and Ally each brought $20 of their Christmas money. Alaina couldn't stand it and had to shop immediately - bought a Minnie hat, princess pin and postcard. Ally loaded up on "parts" for her Mr. Potato Head at the Toy Story Store and got some Goofy Cotton Candy!
Friday we got to the Magic Kingdom before it opened and had a great day!!!

So, after a great day on Friday, we woke on Sat to rain and sleet! And a wind chill of 25. And a high temp of 34. TOO cold for me and everyone else. So, we packed up, much to S and L's dismay, and came home! Save the day for later!
